Welcome

Welcome to online counseling at 4PeaceOfMind. I'm Susan Rotella, the owner and operator of this site. I'm a Registered Professional Counselor (cand.), and I provide professional online counseling and psychotherapy via e-mail.
If you've found your way to my site, on some level you must be thinking that you could benefit from some help with creating a better and happier life for yourself.
In today's average lifestyle, with so many thing to do, and so many different directions to be pulled in, it's easy to put off counseling for a later date—when you have more time, money, motivation, energy, more or less (fill in the blank). But today, with private e-mail, counseling has become more convenient and affordable than ever.
Online counseling at 4PeaceOfMind focuses on the goals, issues, and concerns you bring to counseling. Therapeutic approaches are tailored to your specific needs, and generally aim to identify blind spots, overcome personal barriers, and build strengths.
Counseling is an investment in your self and your life that paves the way toward the kind of life that you desire and deserve—a life with happiness, sense of purpose, sense of fulfillment, and peace of mind.

If you are currently in severe emotional, personal or medical crisis, are feeling overwhelmed, and/or are thinking of hurting or killing yourself or another please leave this site immediately and contact your local crisis line or a trusted adult, or go to the nearest hospital emergency room.
If you are currently experiencing severe and debilitating levels of depression, anxiety, addiction, aggression, or other mental distress which significantly interferes with your ability to fulfill your personal responsibilities, you are likely to benefit more from traditional face-to-face therapy. You can ask a doctor for a referral.
